The Salt Lake City Film Society is featuring a selection of classic films every weekend in their original, 35mm format all summer long in a summer film series. With movies any queer could love like Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Jaws and Office Space, this classic collection is an innovative solution to summer boredom. Tickets are $5 each and showings are at 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South in Salt Lake City.

“These screenings are a blast for both young audiences and those re-living their youth through ’80s teen, slasher and genre movies,” Jim Faulkner, the Summer of 35mm programmer, said in a press release. “These films are great because they engage the audience so well; they are not meant to be seen alone.”
