Stage and screen composer Marvin Hamlisch dead at 68
Stage and screen composer Marvin Hamlisch passed away at the age of 68. He was one of two people in the world to receive an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Pulitzer and Tony Award.
Hamlisch composed more than 40 film scores, including Sophie’s Choice, Ordinary People and Take the Money and Run. He also wrote the scores to Broadway hits A Chorus Line, The Goodbye Girl and Sweet Smell of Success.
