Nightlife news: The Bay goes gay, again

The Bay, the newly reopened club on West Temple and 400 South, is launching a gay night on Sunday nights. The 18 and older club is alcohol free and carries a $5 cover. The Bay has gone through several restructurings, redesigns and new owners in the last few years. Most recently as Club Splash, Babylon on Saturdays was one of the most popular gay clubs in the state. Club JAM’s resident disc jockey, Harry Cross Jr., will be headlining the night with his characteristic top 40, hip-hop style. The Bay will be going head-to-head with Club Karamba, the Latin club which goes gay on Sundays. Karamba has alcohol, drag shows and some of the hottest go-go dancers in town.
