Warnick Rowing Team gets naked for charity (video)

Warnick Rowing Team gets naked for charity (video)

The senior men’s rowing team at Warwick University has been getting their “kit off” for calendars and films to raise funds for their sport and for charity. This year the event will benefit rugby star Ben Cohen’s Stand Up Foundation, which tackles bullying — particularly homophobic bullying — in both the U.K. and the U.S.

“We were really delighted to find out about Ben’s work – like Ben, we have had a huge amount of support from the gay community over the last four years, and this is our way of saying thank you.  No h8!” says their CrowdFunder page.

Their goal is £2,000, or about US$3,200, and they are currently 88 percent of the way there.

For a £200 donation, you can join the men on a promotional photo shoot. They will be serving you champagne … in the buff. Them. Not you. Unless you want to be, we suppose.

If you are in a place where watching naked butts won’t get you in trouble, check out their video:

  1. I wonder if we'd make our $40,000 goal if the staff and columnists and drivers at Q would get naked for a calendar. Hmmmm….

  2. They'll donate handsomely to keep this columnist clothed, I'd wager.

  3. Ditto, Bob… I think they'd pay for me to put the clothes back ON.

  4. sell ad space on the back out boxes

  5. Maybe if you published the threat of a naked calendar, the contributions would come in to prevent it.
