Out for Obama event planned for Oct. 2

The Chair of the Utah Democratic Party, Jim Dabakis, will be headlining an Out for Obama event for the queer community and its allies on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 7 p.m. at the Obama office headquarters in Salt Lake City, 175 W. 200 South. Organizers say the event is free and will be a terrific way to learn more about the campaign’s efforts in Utah, as well as listen to an energizing speaker, who is also a member of the community.
