Gay couple attacked in North Carolina
A gay couple was attacked while walking along a street in North Carolina, WBTV reports.
Mark Little and his partner, Dustin Martin, visited Asheville, N.C., last month and were walking along a street when people in a passing car began harassing them. When they asked the harassers to stop, a passenger jumped from the car and attacked them. Little says he and his partner are concerned police aren’t taking the crime seriously.
“When the cop came on the scene he just felt like it was just an ordinary crime but what had happened is we were hit just because we were gay,” Little told WBTV.
